What are your top 3 priorities for county commission?

“Educational opportunity, Economic Development, & Enhancing Public Safety”

What would you do as a commissioner to help the city and county work together toward a shared vision?

“For Hamilton County to reach its full potential, the city and county must work as partners rather than operating in separate silos. As a County Commissioner, I would prioritize open communication, regular collaboration, and shared planning between local governments, schools, nonprofits, businesses, and community stakeholders. Many of the challenges we face; like public safety, workforce development, infrastructure, housing, education, and economic growth; does not stop at municipal boundaries and require coordinated solutions.

I would support joint planning efforts, encourage regular meetings between city and county leadership, and advocate for data driven decision making that aligns resources around common goals. Most importantly, I would focus on ensuring that all communities have a voice in shaping that shared vision. When city and county leaders work together with transparency, accountability, and a commitment to the people they serve, we can create stronger neighborhoods, improve quality of life, and build a more prosperous future for everyone in Hamilton County.”

What can the county commission do to ensure that development reflects the needs and input of our communities?

“The County Commission plays a critical role in ensuring that growth and development are guided by the needs of residents, not just market forces. As a Commissioner, I would advocate for meaningful community engagement early in the planning process, before major decisions are made. Residents should have clear opportunities to provide input on zoning changes, infrastructure investments, housing developments, and economic development projects that impact their neighborhoods.

I also believe development should be balanced, transparent, and accountable. That means considering the impact on traffic, public safety, schools, green space, housing affordability, and overall quality of life. I would support policies that encourage developers to work collaboratively with communities and local leaders to address concerns and identify opportunities. Growth is important, but it should enhance existing neighborhoods, preserve community character, and ensure that all residents share in the benefits of Hamilton County’s continued success.”

What is your most unpopular opinion?

“I don't have an unpopular opinion.”
