This is what democracy looks like.

On a rainy afternoon in February 2025, a few dozen people hastily gathered in downtown Chattanooga to demand that our federal representatives uphold their oath to the Constitution. Since then, the movement we've come to call Democracy In Action has grown to include hundreds of people, and it’s still growing every day. Democracy in Action holds rush-hour protests to be a visible resistance to undemocratic government. It also hosts community events and calls to action to help our neighbors harmed by poor government.
