What is your plan for addressing aging school facilities and providing every student with a safe, modern learning environment?

“To address the aging school facilities we need to have community collaboration and successful planning to modernize our schools with energy efficient upgrades. Assessments need to be conducted routinely. Partnerships with local businesses can be made to leverage resources. Communication with the county commission is important when seeking funds for infrastructure projects.”

How can the school board guarantee our schools are continuously adapting to the evolving needs of our students?

“Presence and strong relationships with administration and teachers is important for a school board member to understand the needs of a school. To make sure our schools are adapting to the needs of our students clear, log term goals need to be established at the base level. The superintendent needs to be held accountable by the members of the school board for the policies set in place.”

“ALL schools are free and local. No public schools, no private schools, just schools, and everyone attends the one nearest their house.”
