The Hamilton County School Board typically meets every third Thursday of the month (October and March are exceptions, as the board will meet on the second Thursday of these months).

Work Sessions will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the Board Meeting to follow the conclusion of the Work Session or at 6:00 p.m., whichever is later.

To speak at a Hamilton County School Board meeting, you need to submit a written request about your topic at least three days prior to the Director of Schools (mccallie_s@hcde.org). If you miss this deadline,  you may sign up at the meeting. Thirty minutes before the meeting begins, the Board Secretary will collect the sign-up and the  first three people will be allowed to speak regarding agenda items only.
